In the Maple Sugaring environment, the patented Hot End Systems are an efficient way to make fast, leak-proof connections for both 3/16” & 5/16”sap lines. These portable systems quickly warm tubing ends so they slide onto barbed fittings by hand. When warmed, the tubing increases in flexibility and then quickly contracts around the fitting as it cools, making a strong, leak-proof connection.

The temperature-controlled heating chamber is powered by a light-weight, rechargeable, battery. Heat is transferred to the tubing by the chamber’s warm solution which is suitable for organic syrup production.

The weather-resistant pouch system, with a quick-release buckle, has convenient compartments for the heating chamber, the battery, and a refill bottle. The light-weight system can be worn on the left or right side.

Battery output depends on the working environment. A single charge will run the system for about 8 hours in temperatures of 60-70 degrees F. At freezing temperatures, the working time will be reduced. For a full working day, we offer a COLD WEATHER SYSTEM with two batteries.
